AURORA, IN (FOX19) - Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a local gas station, but forgot one thing - the cash.

It happened at the Swifty gas station on US 50 early Monday morning. Police say the suspect ran out the door with a carton of cigarettes, leaving behind a bag of containing money from the register, which he had laid on the safe prior to tying up the clerk.

The suspect could not get back inside because the door was equipped with an electronic lock and the clerk could not reopen it because she was tied up.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid to late 20's, 5-10 to 6-feet tall. He was wearing a camouflage coat, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask and dark colored hiking boots.
