Ginger Whipped Cream and Toasted Pecans

Ginger whipped cream

1 cup of heavy cream

1/2 tbsp of ground ginger

1/8 cup (2 tablespoon) of powdered sugar

Place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl. Mix until the mixture reaches soft peaks.

Toasted Pecans:

Toasting the pecans will enhance their nutty flavor

Place pecan in a skillet large enough to prevent overcrowding.

Cook over medium heat until fragrant and lightly browned.

Stir frequently to prevent burning

Serve with on pumpkin waffle from Taste of Belgium: pecans first, then whipped cream and finish it with a little mace powder.
