BUTLER COUNTY, OH (FOX19)-- The Butler County Sheriffs are putting all local daycare centers on alert after a suspicious visitor asked to be given a diaper changing demonstration.
A male in his 30's went to a daycare in Liberty Township and informed a worker that he was going to baby sit a child and needed to learn how to change a diaper. The worker used a toy doll and gave the visitor diaper changing instructions. The worker thought the request was strange and called Butler County Sheriff's Office.
Officials were able to find the daycare visitor and conduct an interview. So far, no charges have been filed.
A similar incident occurred in the Trenton Area. Both of the cases are under investigation.
Butler County Sheriffs urge child care centers that if a similar situation happens, that they should not to comply with the request and notify the Sheriff's office or local law enforcement agency.
