Barbie Hahn's Cranberry Sauce recipes

Cranberry Sauce 3 Ways, fresh cranberries, dried cranberries and canned cranberries. Something for everyone.

Cranberry Chutney


1 16-ounce can Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup peeled, diced apple

1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons sugar

1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons vinegar

1/8 teaspoon allspice

1/8 teaspoon ginger

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

dash ground cloves


Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender and sauce has thickened slightly, about 30 minutes.

Spiced Cranberry Sauce


1 cup cranberry juice

3/4 cup dried cranberries

1/4 cup finely chopped onion

1 teaspoon orange peel

3/4 tsp 5 spice powder

Place all ingredients in pan, cover cook 6-8 minutes, cool. Serve

Fresh Cranberry Relish

1 bag fresh cranberries

1 seedless orange quartered, do not remove peel.

1/2-3/4 cup sugar

Place all items in good processor. Process until you have a finely chopped mixture.
