JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A woman died after a three vehicle crash in Jefferson Township.
It happened Monday evening just after 8 p.m. on U.S. 68 near milepost 15.
Police say a Chevy Tracker driven by Pamela Crawford, 50, of Ripley, Ohio, was traveling southbound on U.S. 68 crossing Straight Creek Bridge. A Toyota Camry driven by Darryl Morse, 42, of Russellville, Ohio was following.
The Tracker slid on the ice-covered bridge, crossed the center line and was struck by a northbound Dodge Ram pick up truck operated by Wendell Peercy, 51, of Hillsboro. The Tracker returned to the southbound lane where it was struck by the Camry.
Crawford was pronounced dead at the scene. Peercy and his passenger, Jean Peercy, 50, were both taken to Brown County Hospital with minor injuries. Morse and his passenger were not injured.
