DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19)-- A Loveland man is in jail after he tried to buy drugs with counterfeit money in Warren County.
On November 24, the Warren County Drug Task Force and the United States Secret Service held a drug reversal and was selling 15 pounds of marijuana and an undetermined amount of OxyContin tablets.
The buyer, 26-year-old Eric Crawford, attempted to buy the drugs with 30,000 dollars in counterfeit 20, 50, and 100 dollar bills from an undercover officer.
After the transaction, Crawford was immediately arrested. After he was taken into custody, officials then seized equipment used to create and manufacture fake money from his home.
Eric Crawford now charged with the federal offence of knowingly transferring and delivering counterfeit obligations to the United States of America.
