CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Local auto dealers are trying to drive in business with hot deals and red tags, but lots around the city don't seem to be losing inventory.
The Red Tag event sale is going on at Jake Sweeney Chevoret in Cincinnati, but an empty show room is the current state as the American auto industry continues to struggle.
Nationally, GM car sales dropped 44 percent, and truck sales were off 39 percent compared with the same month last year.
Around the Tri-State, there are specials, sales and deals, but no ones bitting or talking.
Even the dealers. Attempts to talk to car dealers in the area about the current situation ended with, "No, no, no."
