2 firefighters injured in Indiana house fire

AURORA, IN (FOX19) - Two firefighters received minor injures while battling a blaze in Aurora.

It happened just after midnight on Thursday in the 15600 block of SR 148.

Investigators believed the fire started in the attic and while crews were fighting the fire, a ceiling collapsed, injuring firefighters Les Bruce and Chris Roush.

Both firefighters were transported to Dearborn County Hospital with minor injuries to the neck, head and back. They were treated and released.

The fire took 20 minutes to contain. Damage is estimated at $50,000 and the cause is still under investigation.

No one else was injured.
