GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19)-- The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that killed one man and sent another to the hospital Sunday morning.
A short time after 1:00am, 36-year-old John Hawthorne was traveling east on Woodville Pike near Rollaway Drive when his car went off the side of the road and overturned. Investigator say, Hawthorne was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Another occupant in the vehicle, 47-year-old Donald Crabtree had serious injuries and was taken to Bethesda North Hospital. There is no word on his current condition.
Officials say that the driver of the vehicle has been undetermined and neither of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
Investigators also believe that alcohol may be a factor in the accident.
