Slick morning commute

Tri-State motorists are being urged to be careful on the roadways this morning.

Temperatures are hovering around the freezing mark, meaning black ice is appearing on some Tri-State roadways.

Bridges and overpasses can be especially slick, so please use caution.

One particular area of concern in eastbound I-275 at I-71 in Blue Ash, where several cars are spinning on ice. Another area is Ronald Reagan at Colerain, which was shut down while police waited for salt crews to arrive to treat the road.

The good news is temperatures will rise above freezing today, melting away any ice.

Some local school districts are closed or on delays. Click here for a list.
