COLERAIN TWP., OH (FOX19)-- An accident in Colerain Township kills one and injures two others Saturday Afternoon.
A short time after 1:00pm, 55-year-old Howard Ross II was traveling South on US 27. When he arrived to the intersection of US 27 and Dry Ridge Road, investigators say Ross may have experienced a medical emergency. His vehicle traveled over a concrete center divider and into oncoming traffic and hit 51-year-old Jeffery Reist head-on.
A third vehicle driven by 33-year-old Lisa Price was also struck in the accident as Howard Ross' vehicle came to a stop on its side.
The Colerain Township Fire Department had to mechanically remove Howard Ross from his vehicle, but was pronounced dead at the scene. Jeffery Reist and his wife, Barb Reist were both taken to University Hospital where they are listed in stable condition. Lisa Price was not injured in the accident.
Investigators say alcohol or drugs were not a factor in the crash.
