HEBRON, KY (FOX19) - A fire at a local high school has destroyed several computers.

Investigators say a light fixture may have sparked a small blaze inside an empty classroom at Conner High School in Hebron.

Sprinklers in the classroom controlled the blaze before fire crews arrive, but about 15 computers were damaged. Investigators say if the sprinklers had not gone off, the damage would have been much worse.

Students are currently on holiday break, and classes will resume as normal on Monday, Jan. 5.
