CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - President Barack Obama started his administration with a call to all of us to serve our communities.
That's a wish some people in the Tri-state are already working on.
A lot of service, a lot of love, all hand made in valentine cards for the troops overseas.
"They do something nice for us, we do something nice for them," said Max Fales.
To Max and his sister, it's as simple as the message in his valentine. Service doesn't have to be a big production.
"They went out, they bought a lot of the stuff, they brought their own money to send overseas," said Ann Arbaugh.
Many of the people made donations like that. Most of them work with or are part of Children's Inc., a group that helps at risk children in Clermont County.
"We will be delivering everything to the Yellow Ribbon Center so they can be sent overseas," said Erica Boller with Children's Inc.
Soldiers these kids don't even know will soon know very much about the love of a neighbor.
