CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A 92-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly firing a shot at a Cincinnati Police Officer.
It happened around 5 a.m. at the Redding Apartments on Reading Road.
Police responded to a call of disorderly conduct and when the officer identified himself, a shot was fired through the apartment door.
The officer knocked a second time and when the man answered the door, he was taken into custody and charged with felonious assault.
The officer was not hurt.
It isn't clear if the shot was meant for the officer. Police believe the man may have gotten scared when he heard the knock at the door.
