CINCINNATI (AP) - The highest-rated Ohio restaurant in the 2009 Mobil Travel Guide plans to close next month.
Jean-Robert at Pigall's in downtown Cincinnati will close Feb. 28.
The partnership between majority owners Martin and Marilyn Wade and Chef Jean-Robert de Cavel is dissolving.
Martin Wade says they have not been making money. The recession has added to a trend against fine-dining restaurants.
The announcement comes as the latest travel guide ratings made Pigall's the only four-star restaurant in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
It will close less than four years after the region's only Mobil five-star restaurant, the Maisonette, closed in Cincinnati.
The Wade family plans to open a new restaurant in the Pigall's space.
