MIAMI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating a body that was found in a shed following a fire in Clermont County.
Fire crews were dispatched to the 1300 block of Finch Lane around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday morning on a report of a storage shed on fire in a backyard.
The caller indicated there was reason to believe a person may have been inside the shed.
Fire unites arrived and found the shed fully engulfed in flames. The fire was knocked down quickly, but after it was extinguished, crews found a body in the shed. The remains were removed for an autopsy.
The victim has not yet been identified, and the cause has yet to be determined.
Investigation of the fire is being conducted jointly by Miami Township Fire & EMS, the Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office, and Miami Township Police Department.
