Inmate escapes from Woodburn Avenue Facility

HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19)-- Hamilton County Sheriffs are searching for an inmate that escaped from the Woodburn Avenue Facility Thursday morning.

At 11:30am, 19-year-old Michael Douthit walked away from the Woodburn Facility located at the 2600 block of Woodburn Avenue. Douthit was arrested on January 21 for Obstruction of Business, Outstanding Traffic offenses.

He was scheduled to appear in court for Possession of cocaine on February 11. Douthit is now wanted for Escape.

Officials say he frequents the Over-The-Rhine and Avondale areas. He is described as 6 feet tall, 190 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
