Teen critically injured in crash

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A teenage girl is in critical condition after a car crash in Colerain Township.

It happened Monday just after 10:15 a.m. near the intersection of Springdale Road and Thompson Road.

A Mazda 3 driven by Chelsea Taylor, 18, of Cleves was traveling eastbound on Springdale Road when she lost control of her vehicle and overcorrected, crossing the double yellow line and was struck on the passenger side by a Dodge Stratus traveling westbound. That car was being driven by William Lang, 54, of Cincinnati.

Taylor was transported to University Hospital and is listed in critical condition. Police say she was not wearing her seatbelt. Lang was not seriously injured. Police say he was wearing his seatbelt.

Alcohol and drugs are not considered to be factors in the crash.
