COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19)-- A man is in the hospital after he is hit by a car overnight.
Hamilton County Sheriff's say that a man left a local bar in the 7500 block of Colerain Avenue shortly before 1:00am. He was walking in an area not designated for crossing when he was hit by 20-year-old Maria Small. The driver was unable to avoid the pedestrian and stuck him on the left side of her car.
The pedestrian was taken to University Hospital where he is listed in stable but critical condition. Officials say that alcohol and or drugs may have been a factor with the pedestrian at the time of the crash.
Sheriffs need help to identify the victim. he is described as a Hispanic male in his 20's and stands between 5'8" and 5'10". he weighs 175 pounds and was wearing a dark shirt with khaki pants and a dark work type coat. he is also described as having two day growth of facial hair.
The accident still remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the identity of the pedestrian or the accident is asked to call the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office at 513-825-1500.
