GEORGETOWN, OH (FOX19) - Three people were found dead in a home in Georgetown, Ohio over the weekend.

Police say two adults and a child were found Sunday on McGohan Road just outside of Georgetown. They have been identified as Lenny Planck, 38, Ruby Planck, 35, and their 11-year-old son, Austin Planck.

Austin was a fifth grader at Georgetown Alverda Reed Elementary School.

Police arrived at the home Sunday evening around 7:30 p.m. on a welfare check after family members were unable to contact them. Upon arrival, deputies forced entry and discovered the three victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Brown County Sheriff Dwayne Wenninger says the deaths have been ruled murder/suicide. Investigators believe Lenny Planck shot and killed his wife and son before turning the gun on himself. A motive is still undetermined.

Neighbor Gary Gray says he was shocked to learn of the deaths.

"They never argued, yelled at kids, they (were) always what they (were) supposed to be," said Gray.

Definite causes of death are pending further investigation by the Sheriff's Department. The bodies have been transported to Montgomery County for autopsies.
