Tooth Fairy Visiting Northern Kentucky Health Department:

The Tooth Fairy will be stopping by the Northern Kentucky Health Department in Boone County to promote dental health for children. She'll be joined by Health Department staff in singing songs and reading books about dental health. Information about flouride dental varnishing for children under age 6 will also be available.

New Metro Bus Display

A public display will be available of Metro's new low-floor bus design by new flyer. You can stop by between 10:30 a.m and 11:15 a.m. on 5th Street, between Walnut and Main, immediately across from Government Square.

This month, Metro will put 24 new design buses into service to replace old buses.
Some features of the new buses:

  • More comfortable seat design with more leg room
  • Bright new designed Metro logo upholstry
  • Lower windows on the lower level, so it's easier to see outside
  • The latest emission control technology
  • Ramp, instead of a wheelchair lift for people with disabilities

Discover Hair as a Work of Art

Presented in partnership with the Cincinnati Museum Center's exhibition, RACE: Are We So Different, the Art Museum hosts Hair Affair, an innovative look at how hair is used by artists to express community, individual identity and ethnicity. Visitors will enjoy food, music, cash bar and more.
