SPRINGDALE, OH (FOX19) - A Morrow man is behind bars, accused of stealing from residents at the Maple Knoll Retirement Village.

Police say Russell Vice, 40, was a maintenance worker at the retirement village. He has been charged with 14 counts of burglary and one count of breaking an entering. Investigators believe the offenses were commiteed throughout 2008 to early 2009.

Police say several links were found between Vice and many of the reported offenses. Investigators found that Vice had pawned jewelry that was later identified by one of the elderly victims. This led to a search warrant being served on the Vice residence. Investigators found numerous pieces of jewelry at his residence that were later identified by elderly residents of Maple Knoll as belonging to them.

Vice is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center.
