Sheriffs search for escaped convict in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19)-- Hamilton County Sheriffs are on the lookout for an inmate who escaped form the Woodburn Avenue Facility Friday evening.

Officials say that 26-year-old Erasmo Alvarado forced his way through a door and escaped from the Woodbrun Avenue Facility at 7:30pm.

Alvarado was serving 180 days for DUI, Driving under Suspension, and Obstructing Official Business. He also had numerous charges pending and the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was also investigating Alvarado.

The suspect is described as a  male who stands 5 feet and 9 inches tall. He had Black hair, brown eyes and  a goatee.

Alvarado has tattoos on both of his arms. On his right forearm, the word "Jesus" with sacred heart and the name "Carmen" . On his left arm, the words "Puerto Rican" and a skull on his upper arm.

A witness reports that Alavarado jumped into a tan Chevrolet Blazer on William Howard Taft.
