The big storms in the Great Plains and the killer Moore, OK tornado remind us that even in this day of high tech weather warnings tornadoes can still kill. In Moore there was approximately 40 minutes between the first tornado warning and when the tornado arrived in Moore. he damage is incredible from winds estimated at 200mph, making the storm a strong EF4. The damage may lead you to think of it as and EF5 but the storm was moving only at 20 mph so once the storm started causing damage it did so for a relatively long period of time. So a wide, slow moving, strong EF4 and it looks like the end of a major war.
