It is not 'Dog Days" muggy but it is humid enough or everyone to feel it. The dew point temperature is a measure of humidity meteorologists use. When the dew point temperature reaches 60° it is just humid enough for most to become aware of the increase in atmospheric humidity. By the time the dew point temperature reaches 65°, like it was this afternoon at 3PM everyone comments on how it feels humid. Dew points in he 70s are sultry. A humid afternoon will lead into a humid evening then a hot and humid Monday. Monday will be dry with many home thermometers topping out at 90° or higher. Look for pop-up showers Tuesday afternoon.
