The party is over. Tomorrow rain and thunder return to the FOX19 NOW viewing area and showers could pop up anytime after 7AM.
Weather forecast models are still all over the place with timing and forecast totals of how much rain will fall. When this happens we have to call it almost as it happens.
Currently there is no talk of Flood Watches or Advisories and NOAA's SPC has downgraded the area to a MARGINAL RISK of sever storms. So ... while I cannot rule out a very local, short-term high water episode or a marginal severe thunderstorm cell, I can say that flooding and severe weather will be the exception, not the rule.
Scattered, brief, light showers will linger into Friday late afternoon then the weekend looks spectacular.
