RECALL: Possible rubber contamination prompts Ohio company to recall nearly 1 ton of raw pork sausage

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - An Ohio company has recalled nearly 2,000 lbs. of raw pork sausage because of a possible rubber contamination.

JH Routh Packing Company in Sandusky is recalling more than 1,700 lbs. of sausage produced in the first four days of 2019. The sausage was shipped to locations in Ohio, Kentucky and Pennsylvania.

The impacted meat is labeled under the “Daisyfield Brand” and called either fresh pork sausage or Italian sausage.
