CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - An area Internal Revenue Service employee describes the current government shutdown as more of an annoyance than a financially crippling circumstance, but says he may be the exception when it comes to his fellow federal workers.
“I have co-workers who are single mothers, co-workers who have spouses that also work for the IRS,” said Mike Chiseck. “And the support structures are gone.”
Chiseck says he and his wife have been saving up and are doing OK, but admits those savings were for a down payment on a house.
