Police: 2 killed in separate West Side shootings

WEST PRICE HILL, OH (FOX19) - Two people are dead in two shootings within hours on Cincinnati’s West Side, according to Cincinnati police.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at Glenway Pony Keg on Glenway Avenue in West Price Hill at 4:38 p.m.
They said they found a robbery suspect shot and down just outside the store’s door.
Homicide investigators identified the victim as James Douglas, 48. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Then, police responded to a second shooting in the 2100 block of Queen City Avenue in Westwood at 8:44 p.m.
First responders found Joseph Brooks, 43, suffering from a gunshot wound, homicide investigators said in a news release early Thursdsay.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests been made on either shooting while police continue to investigate.
