CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The wait is almost over for the Bengals.

Rams quarterbacks coach Zac Taylor has been linked to Bengals for multiple weeks and the team is expected to finalize the deal the day after the Super Bowl, according to multiple national reports.

Taylor is coaching the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII and, per NFL rules, cannot formally finish his deal to become the next Bengals head coach until after the Super Bowl is played.

Taylor, 35, is a former offensive coordinator at UC and has become a commodity coaching under Sean McVay.
