CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Dearborn County woman has pleaded guilty to two counts of murder in connection with the January 2018 deaths of a Purple Heart recipient and his daughter, according to the Dearborn County Prosecutor.
Margie Thompson faces 95 years in prison for her involvement in the killing of Walter Bryant Jr. and Faith Craig, according to Prosecutor Lynn M. Deddens.
“It’s all about seeking justice for the families of Walter and Faith,” said Deddens.
According to Deddens, inmates in Indiana are required to serve 75 percent of their sentence and Thompson will be 119 when she is released.
Craig’s son, Cody W. Booth, was also charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, and conspiracy to commit robbery in connection to the deaths, said the Dearborn County prosecutor.
Criminal confinement, conspiracy to commit criminal confinement, and conspiracy to commit murder charges were later added.
The state is seeking life without parole against Booth.
Thompson’s sentencing is scheduled for March 26 at 8:30 a.m. at the Dearborn Circuit Court.
