CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Chilly sunshine will dominate Saturday, so when gazing out the window the day will look nice but you will have to bundle up when you go out.
The very active winter season continues and our next weather maker arrives Sunday with a wintry mix of rain, freezing rain, some sleet and some snow. Most models have the precipitation pushing to the northeast across the region arriving before noon and continuing into Monday.
With two days of cold air preceding the precipitation there may be some icy driving conditions early Sunday. As the day progresses the air will warm enough to change the mix to chilly, light rain. Occasional light rain will continue Sunday night with a few locations, especially north of Cincinnati metro, getting some ice or slushy snow as temperatures drop a bit. Monday looks wet and Tuesday could bring another round of heavy rain and localized flooding.
