CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -After several days of persistent rainfall, we finally see an opportunity to try and dry out.
The Ohio river has crested in Cincinnati and will slowly receed but stay above flood stage into Sunday.
High pressure building in will put an end to anything falling from the sky in the short term.
While temps yesterday were in the mid 50s, today will see highs in the upper 30s. A breezy west wind will make it “feel” more like the mid and upper 20s.
High temps on Valentine’s Day will wander back into the low 50s.
Another chance for a few showers arrives overnight Thursday into Friday as a cold front passes through the region.
We are watching late Friday into the first half of Saturday for the potential for accumulating snow. It is too early for numbers with this system, so just consider this a “heads-up”.
