CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The storm that had the potential to bring snow accumulations Saturday morning is taking a more southerly track leaving the region with only a few flurries and dry roads.
In fact the track is so much farther south than model runs from midweek that sunshine will dominate the day Saturday.
Another system is headed our way Sunday and it looks like a wet, wintry mix. The possibility exists for a few icy patches early SUN morning but most of the precipitation will arrive after temperatures have warmed above freezing. As the system heads east, Monday will have lingering cloudiness and a few flurries. Late Tuesday another system, this one laden with moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, will bring back the chance of flooding rains. This system will not pack enough of a punch to cause the Ohio River to rise again, but will soils still very wet, some small stream and urban flooding is possible Tuesday night into late evening Wednesday.
