CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A woman was pulled out of the Ohio River at Mill Creek on Sunday at 8:33 a.m., said the Cincinnati Fire Department.

Capt. Chris Snowden said the 47-year-old woman was swimming and they found her in the middle of the Ohio River.

She was brought to the public landing where a medical unit was waiting, said Snowden.

Snowden said she was by herself and there is no word on why she was swimming in the river.
