CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - TriHealth is dropping a lawsuit against a company that sends prank packages to people.

“D---s By Mail” is a company known for sexually explicit gag gifts. The lawsuit came after one of the company’s products was sent anonymously to TriHealth’s White Oak office.

The prank for that particular item? It explodes with penis-shaped confetti when opened.

TriHealth had claimed in the lawsuit that “D---s By Mail” intentionally -- or through negligence -- caused emotional distress to its employees.

TriHealth filed the lawsuit because it was worried the person who sent the gag gift was the same person who made a bomb threat against one of its offices in the past.

Now, TriHealth says the sender came forward and was not behind the alleged bomb threat, so the lawsuit has been dropped. TriHealth sent this statement to FOX19 NOW on Thursday: “Due to the media coverage, the sender of the package came forward, and we were able to determine there was no connection to the earlier bomb threat. As we indicated earlier, the purpose of the lawsuit was to ensure the safety of patients and our caregivers. With this result, there is no reason to continue with the lawsuit.”
