HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A 36-year-old babysitter has been found guilty of murder in a case involving a toddler in Butler County.

Jury deliberations concluded late Friday.

Lindsay Partin, 36, has been found guilty of murder, endangering children and involuntary manslaughter in the case.

She testified on her own behalf Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to the charges. Closing arguments ended Thursday and the jury had been deliberating since 9 a.m. on Friday.

Butler County Sheriff’s officials have said she shook and struck 3-year-old Hannah Wesche at Partin’s Hanover Township home the morning of March 8. Prosecutors told the jury in opening statements Partin admitted to “undercutting" the toddler several times and poking her in the chest.

Hannah was taken to by ambulance to a hospital in Hamilton and then flown to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Avondale, where she died from severe injuries several days later.
