CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - With a clear sky Monday night will be chilly but strong April sunshine will push the high temperature Tuesday into the lower 70s.
Cloud cover will increase Tuesday night and continue Wednesday as a strong cold front. That will be accompanied by unstable air and plenty of moisture moving our way. That combination will bring the chance of severe thunderstorms to the Tri State late Thursday.
All weather systems evolve as they age and cross the country. Because thunderstorm systems rely on small scale interactions and processes within individual thunderstorms, specific forecasts of severe weather are not possible in the majority of cases more than a couple hours ahead of time. Even then, unexpected changes occur. This morning I can tell you all the elements needed for severe storms will in play Thursday, but I cannot tell you how the interactions and processes will evolve. The best forecast for Thursday is to say that severe storms could develop and move through the Tri State and we will have to be weather aware.
