BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) - One person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries from an apartment fire in Bond Hill early Wednesday, Cincinnati fire officials said.
Firefighters responded to a report of smoke and discovered flames in a two-story brick multi-dwelling building in the 1100 block of Tennessee Avenue just before 4:30 a.m., a news release states.
They quickly extinguished the blaze and contained it to the apartment of origin. All occupants were able to safely get out before fire crews arrived, but one person suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital for that and other minor injuries, according to Cincinnati fire and police officials.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Damage was set at $10,000.
