CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Much of the winter was dominated by storm systems arriving in Cincinnati from the southwest, powered by the subtropical jet stream and laden with moisture. Thursday’s rain, that will continue occasionally into Saturday, is the product of a system of that type.
The bad news is that much of that two day stretch into Saturday afternoon will have some rain but from Friday evening on the showers will be spotty. Friday evening will be mild and springtime showers and thunderstorms will move through the Tri-State. After the cold front passes to the east chilly showers will be the rule much of Friday into Saturday.
Easter Sunday will start off cold with many areas dropping for a short time into the upper 30s but with gradual clearing of the sky afternoon temperatures will rebound into the low 70s.
