CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - FC Cincinnati has now lost three of its last four games after dropping a Friday night home game to Real Salt Lake 3-0 at Nippert Stadium.
FCC dominated the first 40 minutes of the game, but Real Salt Lake scored twice in the final minutes of the first half to take a commanding 2-0 lead to the break, adding a third goal in the second half.
“Incredibly disappointing night," said FC Cincinnati head coach Alan Koch.
FC Cincinnati has now played more than 400 consecutive minutes without scoring a goal in open play. The team’s only goal in the last four games was scored on a penalty kick.
The loss drops FC Cincinnati to 2-4-2 on the season.
