CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Boone County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested a Hebron man Monday on charges related to a two-vehicle collision on Burlington Pike in Oct. 2018.
Lawrence Giovanni, 47, was arrested on a grand jury indictment warrant charging him with assault, three counts of wanton endangerment, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
Police said Giovanni was driving his BMW, according to witnesses, in excess of 100 mph when he collided with another car. The impact separated the engine from the other car.
There were three passengers in Giovanni’s car and the driver in the second car. All five were taken to University Hospital or Children’s Hospital.
Giovanni was released from the Boone County Detention Center after posting bond.
