CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Cincinnati Public Schools spokesperson says 17 Walnut Hills High School students have earned a perfect score on the ACT.
Test coordinators say about one in 1,000 students who take the exam earn a percent score of 36. The ACT consists of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science, each scored on a scale of 1–36. A student’s composite score is the average of the four test scores.
“I have never heard of so many students in one school earning a perfect score,” said Ed Curry, spokesperson for ACT.
Another 23 seniors earned a 35, one point from perfect.
