CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Major League Soccer has announced the reinstatement of FC Cincinnati forward Fanendo Adi, who was recently cited for OVI.

According to the ticket, Adi was going 102 in a 65 mph zone along northbound I-75 on March 31 and blew a .124. Our partners at the Cincinnati Enquirer, however, report that the charges of speeding and OVI have been dismissed, and Adi pleaded guilty this week to reckless operation and driving without a proper license, both misdemeanors.

In accordance with the CBA, the team says, Adi was assessed by Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health program doctors and was subsequently cleared to resume team activities. Additionally, Major League Soccer conducted an independent review of the incident and has cleared him to play.
