Lanes reopen on I-71 hours after crash snarls traffic
The only lane currently open is the construction lane to the left that is separated by concrete barriers.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - All lanes of Interstate 71 are reopened hours after a crash involving a semi-truck snarled traffic.

The crash was first reported around 5:10 a.m. and blocked all right lanes of I-71 southbound between Kenwood Road and Red Bank Road.

The only lane opened to traffic was the contraflow construction lane to the left that is separated by concrete barriers.

All lanes reopened and the crash was finally cleared around 9:30 a.m.

However, the ramp from Kenwood Road to I-71 south is still closed due to a crash on that road blocking all lanes.

That crash and road block has been active since around 5:30 a.m.

There is currently no estimated time for when the ramp will reopen.
