Man found guilty in shooting death of 13-year-old

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A jury found an 18-year-old guilty on all counts Friday in the shooting death of a 13-year-old in Hamilton.

Kameron Tunstall, 19, was charged with murder and felonious assault.

According to the Journal News, co-defendant Miquan Damartye Hubbard, 18, earlier pleaded guilty to a murder charge.

Prosecutors said Tunstall provided the weapon and conspired the shooting with Hubbard, the Journal News said.

The double shooting occurred on Aug. 29 in the 800 block of South Front Street.

Jaraius Gilbert Jr., a student at Wilson Middle School, died of gunshot wounds.

Datorion Burns was wounded during the incident, but recovered from his injuries.

Sam Broyles, the director of the Booker T. Washington Community Center, said Gilbert Jr. had just left the center on his bike and was shot while riding home.

Hubbard is scheduled to be sentenced on April 30.

Tunstall will be sentenced on May 28.
