CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Two people were arrested after a long term investigation resulted in a significant seizure of drugs, according to Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones.
The Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force seized approximately 1.5 kilos of cocaine, .5 kilo of methamphetamine, more than $7,000 in cash, a handgun with a loaded extended clip 30 round magazine, marijuana, a hand press and scales.
Tremel Guyton was booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center for felony trafficking in drugs after a traffic stop, police said.
Monique Reed was arrested in West Chester Township after a search warrant was executed at her residence in the 6800 block of Founders Row.
She was booked into the Butler County Jail on two counts of aggravated possession of drugs.
Police said additional charges for both are likely.
“The BURN Taskforce and Cincinnati Police Gang Unit made a substantial impact yesterday in the fight against drugs on the streets of West Chester Township and the City of Cincinnati. When agencies work together and communicate, great things can happen”, said Jones.
