The bench was vandalized with green spray paint.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati police say they have arrested a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old for vandalism at the Reds Youth Academy in Roselawn earlier this week.

A Mr. Redlegs bench was spray painted, according to Cincinnati Reds PR Manager Michael Anderson.

Anderson said the bench, restrooms and stadium field were hit by the vandals, adding the paint on the bench will be difficult to clean off.

Cincinnati police circulated a surveillance picture of the suspects on Friday and were able to arrest two teens on Saturday.

The benches, a part of the Reds 150th anniversary, were placed throughout the Queen City and feature a sculpture of Mr. Redlegs in the various throwback uniforms to be worn by the Reds during the 2019 season.
