CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Monday continued the gray and chilly trend started Sunday with a high of only 55 degrees. That is 18 degrees colder than the normal high temperature for this time of year.
As the sky clears overnight some fog may develop especially in southeast Indiana where the sky clears earlier than around the city. When the visibility drops to ¼ mile traffic begins to be impacted. According to our forecast there will be areas with a visibility near zero for a while Tuesday morning. The strong May sunshine will push afternoon high temperatures into the mid and upper 60s for a pleasant afternoon. A weak system with only a limited amount of moisture is scheduled to arrive in the Tri State Wednesday making for a mostly cloudy day with the chance of a few light, brief showers. Thursday will be mostly sunny showers return Friday. Right now, keep your fingers crossed, the weekend looks warm and dry. We may see 4 or 5 consecutive days with high temperatures in the 80s.
