HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton freshman was removed from school this week after reports of verbal threats.
“We received reports about a freshmen student expressing verbal threats toward the school,” reads a letter sent to parents and guardians of the Hamilton High School freshman campus.
School officials responded immediately and worked with the school resource officer, following standard safety procedures that resulted in the removal of the student from the school, the letter states. The building remained on a normal schedule.
“We commend the quick and expert responses from our staff and the Hamilton Police Department,” the letter concludes.
