Victims of fatal head-on collision in Clinton County identified

CLINTON COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - Two people are dead after a head-on collision Thursday in Clinton County.

It happened around 2:45 p.m. on U.S. 22 near Clarksville Road, just south of Clarksville. According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, Christopher Holsinger, 40, of Hillsboro, was traveling eastbound on 22 in a Chevrolet HHR when the vehicle went left of center and struck a 2004 Buick Lesabre driven by Nancy Barton, 78, of Clarksville.

The drivers were the only ones in each vehicle. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
